Tonight we talk once again with one of our very best favorite guests, Doug Jones. Originally he had been booked to talk about his upcoming film Bye Bye Man. When the release date was moved to December, we decided there was plenty else we could talk about and so we did. The discussion included:
- His recent convention experiences with Ron Perlman and Selma Blair.
- Filming The Bye Bye Man.
- His interviews for the re-release of Pan’s Labyrinth as part of the Criterion Collection
- His amazing relationship with Guillermo del Toro.
- Recollections of Crimson Peak and The Silver Surfer.
- His continuing role on FX’s The Strain.
- His role as Count Orlok in Nosferatu directed by David Lee Fisher.
- Doing the 2005 remake of The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari.
- Reminiscing about Falling Skies and working with Noah Wyle.
- A very funny piece he did for the Nerdist Channel, Scooby Don’t.
- His contribution to the web series Inside The Extras Studio
- A new web series coming soon to a computer near you, Adopted.
It was an hour which felt like minutes. It flew by, but not without the promise from Doug to come back soon.
