Let’s face the reality that NBC is having a rough ratings time, what with the 10pm fiasco and most of the new series tanking so badly. Keeping all that in mind, the network made a really good decision, bringing back Chuck a bit earlier than they wanted to, and using it as an anchor on their very weak Monday slot. I have got to tell you, Season 3 picks up where the awesome left off.
Intersect, rev.2 has transformed Chuck into a super-spy, not just a fountain of knowledge, giving him valuable tools and abilities when he needs them. The funny part comes in when his nerves take over and block the download so it becomes a constant balancing act for him, to keep himself under control and allow his abilities to come out.
Here’s What’s Good: Yvonne Strahovski is even hotter than last season, if that is humanly possible (God help me, there is a scene in the 2 hour premiere that’s is better than a Victoria’s Secret Private Fashion Show). Adam Baldwin is so damn funny it hurts. The rest of the cast is solid, the writing is crisp, the filming is clean and each episode is very very sweet while maintaining the integrity of the concept. What a country!.
What’s Not So Good: I am missing Anna Wu, big time. She was one hell of a funny sexy character.
Grade: A-, because nuthin’ is perfect, but this is coming close for Network TV
This is Dome sayin’:Geeks are still cool, just ask one.
