V & November Sweeps

What can I say? If you were a fan of the original series, you were waiting for this reboot. With no World Series game on last night, and very light competition, the ratings were “good”, BUT you have only 4 episodes and then you wait until March or April to see the rest.  On the good side, the effects were very good and the acting was fun. The pilot was written by Scott Peters who did The 4400, which I just loved! On the other hand, given what was rumored to have happened to the remaining scripts, what comes next is totally up in the air. I am giving this another episode.

Smallville has a ridiculous Guest Star from “The Wonder Twins” on November 13. Avoid this at all costs.

Fringe keeps getting better and better. From a show where I couldn’t even remember the characters names, it has really grown on me as the conspiracy is slowly unveiled. Their contribution to Sweeps is on November 19 when The Observer is revealed, at least somewhat. Cool stuff.

New England Fan Experience is coming up soon. It’s being held at the Courtyard Marriott in Boston on Nov. 13-15. Sci-Fi Saturday night will be there. Please come by our booth and say hi,. Or for more fun, we are hosting a forum on podcasting. For more info see:

Last, but by no means least, one of our old friends, Chris Golden, has just announced he will be at ComiCon Boston in April 2010. Check out his blog at:
