We here at Sci Fi Saturday Night love comic books.  We started with superhero stories with their caped protagonists fighting the forces of evil.   Our tastes over time broadened to comics set in fantasy and science fiction.  Follow that up with stories set in more commonplace settings where the greatest struggles are fighting against the forces of making ends meet and finding love.  Now imagine combining stories of superheroes with stories about the struggles of everyday life.

Well tonight’s guest Mike Spring does.  Mike wrote Red White and Broke, a story about a superhero who finds himself unable to earn a living due to his need to save the world.  And his next story, which he is currently being Kickstarted is Uncaped: A Super Hero Rom-Com.  As Mike says, ‘Imagine Wonder Woman falls in love with Jimmy Olsen.’  Check out more of Mike’s creations at Outtatime Comics, and let us know in the comments or on socials which of the 5 covers of Uncaped is your favorite.
