Second things first. I have resisted writing about the ending of BattleStar Galactica for a variety of reasons; first and foremost, I have viewed it 3 times now, and finally feel ready to give it some justice. So, here goes. It has been a good long time since any series had been so well planned out that the ending really does an amazing job of tying up every loose end and plot thread. If we forget the visually stunning cinematography, the sweet soundtrack and the acting that has become a hallmark of television programs, you are left with a script that follows the Show Bible to its precise conclusion. With all the cliffhangers they could have left, the producers and writers chose instead to give the audience what we deserved. Closure. Think of it this way, yes they have a prequel series in the works but its ties to this plotline are tenuous at best, and that\u2019s the way it should be. Job well done. Time to move on.<\/p>\n
