At 5 am this morning I was sipping my morning coffee and hit the dvr to watch lasts nights installment of Eli Stone. For the next 42 minutes I sat there transfixed, watching what I fear will be the most serious casualty of this season. People screamed for the Firefly movie, when Fox unceremoniously dumped them after showing them no respect. The fans were up in arms to force ABC to bring closure to Jericho<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>, and got their way, and are still whining like babies for more. As I watched the second to last installment of this fragile creation, my heart sank, fearing that when the new season comes around, this will be shoved outside to whither and die. And, it\u2019s so wrong. <\/font><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get something straight. I have been a fanboy for one hell of a lot of years. Samllville is STILL on the frackin air, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THAT? Anyway, it may have something to do with the fact that I\u2019m watching\u00a0Eli Stone\u00a0in the wee hours of the morning, but it enchants me, and that is nothing to scoff at. The air of innocence is inherent to how to describe the visions Eli has, it is both endearing and awesome. This show has not yet had a bad episode. This show has not yet failed to move me to make me think, to make me\u2026.care, and that is not an easy feat.<\/font><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s be honest for a second. I long ago stopped caring about \u201cthe fate of the islanders\u201d on LOST. I couldn\u2019t\u00a0give a flying camshaft\u00a0about whether KITT gets an oil change. Let\u2019s rotate his tires and get more Hasslehoff\u2026\u2026. (god, please I\u2019m kidding).<\/font><\/p>\n

Attention Hollyweed.:<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Keep your frackin hands off Eli Stone<\/strong>. As for the rest of America<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>, come watch the power of whimsy, let it entrance you, embrace you and bring you back to a place you might have forgotten existed.<\/font><\/p>\n
